Section 6 (5) of the Information Act:

• Right to Rectification:
  If the processed data is inaccurate, the data subject may request correction or supplementation.

• Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten):
  The data subject is entitled to request the erasure of their personal data without undue delay if:

  • The personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected or processed,
  • The data subject withdraws their consent, and there is no other legal basis for processing,
  • The data subject objects to the processing, and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing,
  • The personal data has been unlawfully processed,
  • The personal data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation, or
  • The data has been collected in connection with offering information society services.

Exceptions to erasure apply if processing is necessary for freedom of expression, compliance with a legal obligation, public interest, scientific research, or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

• Right to Restrict Processing:
  The data subject may request that the data controller restrict processing if:
  • The accuracy of the data is contested, for the duration of verification,
  • The processing is unlawful, but the data subject opposes erasure and requests restriction instead,
  • The data controller no longer needs the data, but the data subject requires it for legal claims, or
  • The data subject objects to processing, pending verification of the controller's legitimate grounds.

Restricted data can only be processed with the data subject's consent or for legal claims, rights protection, or public interest.

• Right to Data Portability:
  The data subject may request their data in a machine-readable format and transfer it to another data controller without hindrance from the current controller.

• Right to Object to Processing, Including Profiling:
  The data subject may object to processing based on public interest, the exercise of official authority, or legitimate interests. In such cases, the controller must stop processing unless compelling legitimate grounds prevail.

• Withdrawal of Consent:
  The data subject may withdraw their consent at any time by notifying the data controller.

• Right to Judicial Remedy:
  The data subject may lodge a complaint with the data controller, a supervisory authority, or take legal action if their rights are violated.
